Job Summary
As a Social Manager at AWO Hamburg, you will play a pivotal role in supporting 300 residents in a refugee accommodation facility in Hamburg-Rissen. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing social counseling on administrative matters, job and housing searches, and school enrollment, while maintaining thorough documentation. You will lead integration projects, facilitate resident meetings, and act as a liaison between residents and local networks, including medical and social services. A core part of your mission is fostering harmonious living within the facility and the surrounding neighborhood, while proactively identifying risks to families and coordinating necessary support.
