Job Summary
As the Head of the Occupational Health and Safety Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a safe and healthy work environment within the Diakonie Himmelsthür. Your daily responsibilities include providing expert guidance to management and staff, steering the strategic development of Occupational Health Management (BGM), and ensuring full compliance with legal safety regulations (such as ArbSchG and DGUV). You will be responsible for analyzing risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and coordinating with employee representative bodies. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage and develop the team while fostering a culture of health and prevention. You will also design and implement training programs to ensure safety standards are met across the organization. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Health Management or a comparable qualification; certified Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit).
Experience
- Professional experience in occupational health and safety or health management
- Professional experience in social organizations is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience in decision-making and organizational development
