Job Summary
This role involves working within the Thuringian State Office for Agriculture and Rural Areas (TLLLR) to perform advanced organic-chemical analyses. You will be responsible for the coordination, execution, and documentation of analytical procedures using LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, and GC-ECD techniques. These analyses focus on detecting pesticides and contaminants in agricultural products, feed, soil, and seeds. Beyond routine testing, you will play a key role in developing and validating new analytical methods and ensuring the maintenance and operational readiness of sophisticated laboratory equipment. The position is unique as it contributes directly to official agricultural monitoring and regulatory compliance within an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor or FH-Diploma) in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical/Bio-Engineering, Technical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Bioanalytics, Process Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in a chemical-analytical laboratory environment
- Practical experience with instrumental analysis using LC and GC techniques
- Experience in analytical quality assurance or quality management, preferably according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025
- Specific experience in pesticide analysis is considered an asset
