Job Summary
This role involves working on the decommissioning of nuclear disposal facilities located north of Karlsruhe. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the technical verification of cables and circuits, planning and executing the dismantling of electrical components including switchgear, lighting, cable trays, and steel conduits. You will also handle the sorting and packaging of residual materials, documentation of decommissioning processes, and the setup of temporary site power and lighting. The position requires a high degree of precision and safety awareness, as you will be working within controlled areas of a nuclear facility. This is a 48-month fixed-term contract offering the opportunity to contribute to significant industrial dismantling projects. The role is ideal for a skilled professional with a background in electrical engineering who is comfortable with site-based work, documentation, and adhering to strict safety and disposal protocols.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an electrical field or equivalent technician/master craftsman certification.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in an electrical trade with a vocational qualification, or 2 years of practical experience with a technician/master craftsman certification.
- Minimum 2 years of specific experience in the decommissioning of industrial or nuclear facilities.

- Must be fluent in German (C2 level). Position is based north of Karlsruhe in a nuclear facility. Employment is via temporary agency (ANÜ) with REINSTEIN GmbH.
