Job Summary
The Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their central administration team. In this role, you will play a key part in the implementation project of the new Campus Management System (HISinOne) and the consolidation of existing systems (KIS/KISOffice and KLIPS/LSF). Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve project and requirements management, including analyzing and documenting functional requirements, supporting decision-making processes, and contributing to system concepts. You will also be responsible for system administration, data management, and providing operational support, including troubleshooting application issues and providing user training. This position is ideal for someone with an IT-related academic background who enjoys bridging the gap between technical systems and administrative processes. Required Skills
Education
Relevant university degree (Fachhochschule or Bachelor's degree), preferably with an IT focus.
Experience
- Professional experience in project management, particularly regarding software implementation projects.
- Experience in working with Campus Management Systems, preferably HISinOne.
- Practical experience in university course management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and document technical and functional requirements.
