Job Summary
As a Facility Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing the value and efficiency of IKEA retail properties. Your daily responsibilities include overseeing technical and infrastructural facility services, managing external service providers, and ensuring full compliance with safety and legal regulations. You will lead facility-related projects, ranging from maintenance to modernization efforts, while monitoring energy consumption, waste management, and operational costs. A key part of your role involves performing quality checks on external personnel to ensure delegated duties are met according to operator responsibility standards. You will also act as a primary point of contact for management in the absence of the Unit Facility Manager. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical or commercial vocational training (apprenticeship) with additional qualification or experience in Facility Management.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical or infrastructural facility management
- Experience in managing external service providers and suppliers
- Demonstrated experience in project management, covering planning through to completion
- Open to applications from entry-level professionals with relevant educational backgrounds
