Job Summary

As a Function Developer for Driver Assistance Systems at Brunel, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end development of ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) systems, guiding projects from the initial concept phase through to the Start of Production (SOP). Your daily responsibilities will include defining functional scopes and performance targets, creating detailed requirements, and designing test cases. You will be actively involved in validating functions through rigorous testing on test benches, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) setups, and real vehicles. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will work closely with architects, fellow developers, and clients to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development of driver assistance systems, ideally with a focus on ACC or longitudinal control systems.
  • Experience in applying engineering standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE is considered an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work in structured project environments with strong communication skills.
