Job Summary
As a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or Laboratory Technician within the Development Team in Heidelberg, you will play a vital role in supporting our global R&D department in the development of detergent and cleaning products. Your daily responsibilities include performing technical laboratory tasks, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring a clean and organized workspace, and meticulously documenting test results in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will work closely with international teams, specifically supporting projects based in the United States. Key requirements include a solid understanding of laboratory techniques, adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and a proactive, structured approach to work. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an agile, international environment and is motivated to contribute to product development while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. The role is initially limited to a two-year contract with the goal of permanent employment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed professional vocational training (e.g., as a Chemical Technical Assistant) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in laboratory work or R&D environments is considered an advantage.
- Experience in performing technical and practical laboratory tasks.
- Experience in maintaining documentation according to formal standards (SOPs/GLP).
