Job Summary
The Municipality of Barsbüttel is seeking an IT System Administrator to join their central IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, development, and standardization of the municipal IT infrastructure, with a specific focus on supporting educational facilities and local government administration. Your day-to-day tasks will include 1st and 2nd-level support, managing Windows clients and iOS devices via MDM, configuring network components, and overseeing presentation and printing systems. You will also coordinate IT projects, work with external service providers, and provide training to end-users. Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent qualification.
- Alternatively, several years of relevant professional experience in IT support.
- Professional experience in collaborating with external service providers.
- Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure maintenance and system configuration.
- Experience in the IT sector of educational institutions is considered an advantage.

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Must have C1 level German proficiency in spoken and written form. Role is based in the public sector under TVöD regulations.
