Job Summary
This role involves working in a workshop environment specializing in modern motorhome and caravan technology. You will be responsible for the installation of various accessories, including solar panels, air conditioning units, awnings, and bike racks. A significant portion of the role involves working with 12V and 230V electrical systems, as well as performing diagnostic and repair work on water, gas, and heating systems. Additionally, you will conduct leak tests, minor structural repairs, and provide technical briefings to customers during vehicle handovers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work rather than assembly-line tasks. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with high-quality leisure vehicles and provides access to manufacturer training, making it a great fit for skilled technicians or motivated career changers with a strong technical background.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Automotive Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Electrician, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in automotive engineering, mechatronics, or electrical systems is preferred.
- Experience with accessory installation or vehicle technology is considered an advantage.
