Job Summary

As a Project Engineer at DB InfraGO AG, you will manage complex infrastructure projects focused on high-voltage systems, overhead contact lines, and rail power supply. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to completion, ensuring adherence to strict quality, cost, and schedule targets. Your day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating internal and external stakeholders, such as contractors, planning offices, and authorities, while managing contracts and technical documentation. You will also be responsible for financial oversight, including cost estimation and budget management, while ensuring compliance with legal standards and railway regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant regional rail infrastructure projects in Saxony. The position is structured to support professional growth, with a 'Junior' entry path available for candidates who demonstrate potential but lack full experience, supported by targeted development and salary progression.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Transport Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a specialization in electrical power systems.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning or implementing projects in high-voltage systems, energy facility construction, or overhead/power line construction.
  • Professional experience in project management of complex projects, ideally within transport infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers) and VOB (Construction Contract Procedures).
