Job Summary

As a Test Bench Technician or Master Craftsman, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing test equipment and measurement technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing maintenance and service tasks, conducting functional tests on systems and components, and diagnosing and resolving technical malfunctions. You will also be responsible for inspecting and replacing mechanical and electromechanical wear parts, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients on-site. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys field work and problem-solving in a dynamic engineering environment. The position offers the opportunity to work with diverse technical projects through a reputable engineering firm, providing exposure to various industrial sectors. You will need to be comfortable with significant travel, as the role requires approximately 120 to 130 hotel nights per year, and you must possess strong organizational skills to work independently and reliably in a client-facing capacity.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in a mechanical, mechatronic, or electrical field, with a mandatory advanced certification as a Technician (Techniker) or Master Craftsman (Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in test bench maintenance or a similar technical environment is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proven background in mechanical, mechatronic, or electrical systems.

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license, high willingness to travel (approx. 120-130 hotel nights per year), ability to work independently and reliably.
