Job Summary

As a Service Technician for Emission Measurement Systems, you will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, calibration, and installation of specialized emission monitoring equipment. Your day-to-day operations will involve commissioning new systems, executing modernization projects, and performing complex troubleshooting and repairs. You will act as a technical advisor to clients, providing training on system operation and supporting them with spare parts management. Additionally, you will support mechatronic test systems and maintain detailed documentation and service reports. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys technical variety and is comfortable with significant travel. You will join an international engineering environment, benefiting from a structured, fair recruitment process and professional coaching. The position requires a strong technical background, a high degree of flexibility, and the ability to represent the company professionally at client sites.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technician training (Technikerausbildung) or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Completed technical vocational training or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Professional experience in service and/or the automotive industry is considered an advantage

Languages

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. High willingness to travel (approximately 120-130 hotel nights per year). Position is based on temporary employment (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung) with the client.
