Job Summary
This role involves managing the planning, tendering, construction execution, and settlement of new and expansion projects within the municipality of Glinde. You will be responsible for developing energy-saving concepts for street lighting, initiating and steering projects related to traffic safety systems and hydraulic engineering, and managing project budgets and investment planning. The position also requires active participation in committee work, preparing session documents, and securing funding for civil engineering projects. You will act as a key point of contact for external engineering firms, authorities, and utility providers, while ensuring compliance with public procurement and construction laws. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical engineering discipline.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or municipal infrastructure management
- Experience in public administration processes is highly desirable
- Practical experience in construction project management, including tendering and billing
- Experience in hydraulic engineering is considered an advantage
