Job Summary

SEIM-TEC GmbH is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join their established IT services team in Schorndorf. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of video surveillance systems, primarily focusing on Mobotix technology. Your day-to-day tasks include installing, commissioning, and maintaining camera systems, configuring network components, and managing recording software. You will also independently plan camera layouts and cabling for smaller projects and document your work within the company's ticketing system. The position requires a strong foundation in electronics or IT, proven practical experience with Mobotix systems, and a solid understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, PoE). You will work closely with the internal IT service team to provide high-quality support to clients in retail and healthcare.
