Job Summary

This role involves maintaining, testing, and adjusting vehicles and systems, with a primary focus on electronics and electrical components for special vehicles used by emergency services (fire, ambulance, police). Key responsibilities include installing and retrofitting technical accessories like blue light systems and digital radio equipment, as well as integrating electrically and electronically controlled systems into vehicle components. Depending on qualifications, the role may also involve constructing, manufacturing, and modifying vehicle frames and chassis. The ideal candidate will have a completed education or further training in electronics/electrical engineering, a strong affinity for automotive technology, and a Class B driving license. This position offers a varied role within a family-friendly company, with the option of a 4-day work week.
