This role involves serving as a key scientific expert within the State Agency for Environment and Agriculture (BfUL) in Nossen. The successful candidate will oversee the S1 genetic engineering facility, conduct molecular biological analyses—specifically PCR-based testing for GMOs—and manage the validation of microbiological methods for pathogen detection in seeds and animal feed. You will act as a reference laboratory coordinator, collaborating with the EURL-GMFF and participating in national expert committees.
