Job Summary

As a Gas Supply Engineer at Bosch in Dresden, you will be responsible for the uninterrupted operation of bulk and specialty gas supply systems and gas detection infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include managing process engineering aspects of the facilities, ensuring media supply meets quality and quantity standards, and overseeing both hook-up and base supply operations. You will act as a coordinator for external service providers and the internal operations team, monitoring system performance, analyzing consumption data, and leading the planning and implementation of facility upgrades or expansions. This role is unique because it combines hands-on operational oversight with strategic project management in a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system availability, energy efficiency, and resource management. We are looking for a professional with a strong engineering background who is reliable, analytical, and capable of managing complex stakeholder interfaces to ensure operational excellence.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Process Engineering, Supply Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environment
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing preferred
  • Experience in facility operations and/or project management preferred
