Job Summary
As an IT Expert for Backup & Storage at Airbus Defence and Space, you will be responsible for the operational management of storage and backup infrastructures across Germany. Your daily tasks include ensuring system stability, monitoring performance against defined KPIs and SLAs, and managing infrastructure costs. You will act as a technical lead for root-cause analysis during incidents and perform high-level administrative tasks. Additionally, you will contribute to the planning and implementation of new storage and backup solutions. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.

- Experience in root-cause analysis and technical incident support
- Desirable experience in IT automation processes

Additional
- Valid work permit for Germany is required. ITIL knowledge and relevant product certifications (e.g., NCDA, NCSIE, NCTA, MetroCluster) are considered a strong advantage.
