Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT support and maintenance for airport systems, specifically focusing on check-in and boarding infrastructure. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with Self Bag Drop units located throughout the airport terminals. You will also be tasked with documenting your maintenance activities and technical interventions using internal systems such as SAP. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-paced airport environment at Stuttgart Airport, contributing to the efficiency of daily operations. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, a proactive approach to new technologies, and the ability to work effectively within a team. This is a fixed-term position for approximately 6 to 9 months, providing a great opportunity to gain specialized experience in critical infrastructure support within a major international transportation hub.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Practical experience in documenting technical work within ERP systems like SAP
