Job Summary

The Museum am Schölerberg, a regional natural history museum and environmental education center in Osnabrück, is seeking a Scientific Trainee for a two-year fixed-term position starting July 1, 2026. In this role, the trainee will support the museum's core mission of exhibiting and communicating scientific content, working within a facility that features extensive collections in mineralogy, geology, paleontology, botany, and zoology, as well as a modern planetarium. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain professional experience in museum operations, collection management, and public outreach within a recognized regional environmental education center. The position is full-time (40 hours per week), though job-sharing arrangements may be considered. Required Skills
