Job Summary
This role within the Thuringian Police Training Center involves managing IT projects and serving as a technical lead for IT applications. The successful candidate will oversee system administration, including server and client management, network organization, and the integration of new IT procedures. A core component of the position is ensuring IT and data security through the development of security concepts. Beyond technical administration, the role requires acting as a trainer by conducting seminars and courses for IT users, providing support, and collaborating with various police departments. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Communication Technology, or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, qualification for the upper technical or information technology civil service (gehobener technischer bzw. informationstechnischer Dienst).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in information and communication technology.
- Professional experience in system administration and project management.
- Experience in delivering training or seminars for IT applications.

- Must hold or be eligible for civil service status (Beamtenverhältnis) in the upper technical or information technology service (A 10). Must be able to pass an assessment center selection process. Excellent oral and written communication skills in German are required.
