Job Summary

This role involves establishing and managing a new 'Service Center for Remuneration Agreements' within the Family and Youth department of the Unna district. You will work in a three-person project team to negotiate and standardize service and remuneration agreements for youth welfare services. Your daily responsibilities include auditing provider cost calculations, ensuring economic efficiency while maintaining high-quality social services, and acting as a central point of contact for youth welfare offices and external providers. The position requires a strong background in business administration and public law, specifically regarding child and youth welfare (SGB VIII). This is a unique opportunity to shape inter-municipal standards in a role that balances financial oversight with social impact. The position is initially limited to two years with the goal of permanent establishment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Public Management, Administrative Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics, Project Management, or equivalent; OR qualification as a civil servant (Laufbahngruppe 2, 1. Einstiegsamt); OR Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte) with completed advanced training (Verwaltungslehrgang II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management
  • Professional experience in business administration or public administration
  • Experience in the application of SGB VIII (Child and Youth Welfare Act)
  • Experience in financial controlling or cost auditing
