Job Summary

As an Automation Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing control systems for high-end packaging machinery. Your daily responsibilities include developing PLC programs using Schneider PacDrive 3 and Rockwell systems, configuring hardware such as servo drives and I/O modules, and creating complex motion control functions. You will also be responsible for developing safety software and designing visualizations using the Siemens TIA Portal. A key aspect of this role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and commissioning machinery both at our production facility and directly at customer sites. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys a mix of office-based development and hands-on field work.
