As a PLC Programmer at CITYWATT, you will play a foundational role in establishing and structuring PLC programming processes within a fast-growing energy and e-mobility company. Your day-to-day work involves developing, implementing, and maintaining PLC programs (Siemens, Wago, Phoenix Contact) while managing system architecture, code standards, and documentation. You will serve as a critical bridge between IT and electrical engineering, ensuring seamless data communication between transformer stations and grid operators using protocols like IEC 60870-5-104 or IEC 61850. This position is unique because it combines traditional industrial automation with the dynamic world of e-mobility and energy management. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and integration to final commissioning, while collaborating closely with network teams to ensure secure, stable system operations.
