Job Summary
As a Road Construction Engineer, you will play a vital role in the urban road and infrastructure planning department. Your daily responsibilities include detailed road design, including drainage systems, calculating material quantities, and preparing cost estimates. You will provide technical oversight for traffic planning submissions, support construction site supervision, and contribute to traffic-related expert reports. Additionally, you will coordinate with regional and federal authorities, manage documentation, and assist in updating technical guidelines. This role requires a professional who is comfortable with public interaction and site inspections. You will work in a collaborative environment where reliability and a proactive approach are key to success. This position is ideal for an engineer looking to contribute to municipal infrastructure development while utilizing advanced CAD and GIS software tools in a full-time, permanent capacity.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical education at a Higher Technical Institute (HTL); a degree from a University of Applied Sciences or Technical University is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in road construction and civil engineering projects
- Experience in applying technical regulations and standards (RVS)
- Experience in construction site supervision and technical reporting
- Experience in public administration or municipal infrastructure planning is advantageous

Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license, willingness to use private vehicle for business travel, willingness to work overtime and perform winter road service supervision, must possess Austrian or EU citizenship, and must provide proof of clean criminal record.
