Job Summary

As a Senior System Engineer for Citrix Platform Operations, you will play a critical role in maintaining the digital infrastructure of the German Armed Forces. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring the high availability and stable operation of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments, including infrastructure components like StoreFront and Delivery Controllers. You will manage the full lifecycle of services, from creating and optimizing Golden Images via Provisioning Services (PVS) to performing system updates, incident management, and implementing security policies. Working in a DevOps-oriented model, you will collaborate with service management and architecture teams to modernize and secure complex IT systems. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in complex enterprise IT environments, strong Windows Server and Active Directory expertise, and a passion for automation using PowerShell or Ansible.
