As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's digital future by developing and maintaining robust cloud-based data platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and evolving dbt processes within a Snowflake environment, designing scalable data pipelines and data marts, and providing expert support for data products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, platform engineers, and business departments to establish best practices in data modeling, automation, and testing. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Data Engineer or Cloud Data Engineer
  • Practical experience working within the Snowflake environment
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and/or WhereScape tools
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable and high-performance data solutions
  • Experience in migrating traditional ETL/ELT processes to cloud-native architectures
  • Experience in modern data modeling and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies
