Job Summary

As a Metrology Technician, you will be crucial in ensuring system performance and optimizing it through precise 3D coordinate measurement. Your daily tasks will involve capturing and evaluating data using optical and tactile 3D coordinate measuring systems, measuring free-form surfaces and standard geometries on prototypes, first samples, and series components. You'll conduct both single and series measurements, including production-accompanying measurements, and program and evaluate measurement processes using CAD data, measurement plans, and drawings. This role requires you to independently handle internal metrology inquiries and serve as a key contact for internal clients like development and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in metrology, excellent understanding of technical drawings, and proficiency in 3D coordinate measurement, with a customer-oriented approach and willingness to travel internationally.
