Job Summary
This role involves overseeing and managing the IT security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and SIEM. The administrator will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the network environment (LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN, segmentation), as well as analyzing and mitigating security incidents. Key responsibilities also include conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, developing security solutions, and ensuring compliance with data protection and IT security guidelines like ISO 27001 and GDPR. The position requires managing patch and update processes while maintaining system availability, supporting disaster recovery planning, and documenting IT security metrics and configurations. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in IT or Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Many years of practical experience in the administration and conception of IT security solutions (e.g., firewalls, VPN, SIEM, Endpoint Security)
- Profound knowledge in network management (e.g., switching, routing, VXLAN, WLAN, VPN, network protocols)
- Experience with Microsoft and Linux server environments
- Experience with Microsoft cloud environments (e.g., Entra ID)
