Job Summary
As a PLC Control Technician at Willy Niklas GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in the automation of machinery for the seed and food processing industries. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include programming control systems and visualizations using Siemens S7, WinCC flexible, and the TIA-Portal, while ensuring compliance with machine safety guidelines. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of control systems, from planning and CAD-based circuit diagram creation to in-house testing and on-site commissioning at customer locations. Additionally, you will provide technical consulting and support to clients. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in electrical or automation engineering who enjoys a mix of office-based design work and hands-on field commissioning. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician (Techniker), or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology (Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or automation technology.
- Professional experience in PLC programming and circuit diagram creation.
- Experience in the commissioning of industrial machinery and technical customer support.
