Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of complex systems for special-purpose machinery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing electrotechnical systems for PLC-based plants, creating detailed circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and assembly layouts using EPLAN Electric P8. You will be responsible for selecting and dimensioning electrical components while ensuring compliance with international standards and safety regulations. Additionally, you will manage technical documentation and collaborate closely with manufacturing and commissioning teams, occasionally supporting international service deployments. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification such as a certified technician (Techniker).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electrical design using EPLAN Electric P8.
  • Proven experience in switchgear construction and design.
  • Professional experience in applying relevant electrical standards and safety guidelines.
  • Experience in the integration and dimensioning of electrical components for complex machinery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and coordinate between design, production, and commissioning departments.
