Job Summary
This role involves driving the strategic planning, project management, and technical development of the Geographic Information System (GIS) for the city of Laatzen. As a key member of the Digitalization team, you will be responsible for structuring and monitoring the Geodata Infrastructure (GDI), managing geodata, and providing expert support to various municipal departments. You will work in a collaborative, modern environment focused on simplifying administrative processes and improving digital services for citizens. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Geoinformatics, Business Informatics, Geosciences (with a focus on GIS), or a comparable field.
Experience
- At least 2 years of practical professional experience in GIS or related fields.
- Professional experience in geodata management and infrastructure development.
- Experience in municipal administration is desirable.
- Experience in Windows system administration and scripting is desirable.
