Job Summary

As an Electronics Technician at the Bruchsal service center of the Baden-Württemberg Police, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational readiness of police facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, building technology, and heating centers. You will perform essential safety inspections (DGUV-V3) on both fixed installations and mobile equipment, including police vehicles. Additionally, you will coordinate repairs with external agencies, support the integration of new technical systems, and handle administrative tasks. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who values stability and public service, offering a permanent position within the public sector (TV-L). Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training (Ausbildung) as an Electronics Technician or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electronics or building technology is ideal
  • Experience with electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Willingness to cross-train in broader facility management areas such as plumbing, heating, and ventilation

Additional

  • Work permit for Germany required. Willingness to participate in winter service duties and on-call rotations. Ability to work at the Bruchsal location.
