Job Summary

As the Head of Sales for the Special Products business unit at SCHLEIFRING, you will lead a team of six Key Account Managers and Sales Engineers, overseeing the strategic direction of key customer relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing the end-to-end sales process, from ensuring high-quality proposal delivery to defining and tracking KPIs and managing annual budgets. You will bridge the gap between technical departments—such as project management, engineering, and product qualification—and our international key accounts in the security industry. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive growth and optimize internal processes. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our market leadership while fostering innovation within a collaborative, international environment. The position requires a hands-on approach, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to travel internationally to maintain close customer relationships.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical sales or key account management
  • Experience in leading small teams is highly desirable
  • Professional experience in strategic business development and process optimization
