As a Specialist in ITK/Telecommunications, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advising project managers and ITK system managers on various ITK projects within regional and station management. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the procurement of engineering, planning, and construction services, as well as providing expertise for key technical decisions made by specialist planners. A core part of your role involves the technical review of plans to ensure quality assurance, adherence to DB guidelines, and implementation of ITK security requirements. You will also conduct technical checks before ITK systems are commissioned and provide technical support for type approval procedures by the Federal Railway Authority (EBA) and operational trials.
