Job Summary

As a DWDM Transport Network Technician, you will play a critical role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining optical transmission systems across central network infrastructures. Your day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing signal quality metrics like OSNR and bit error rates, troubleshooting connectivity issues between PoP locations, and configuring DWDM systems to ensure stable data transmission. You will perform acceptance tests, handle system configurations via CLI or manufacturer tools, and ensure all technical activities are thoroughly documented. This position requires a high degree of mobility, as you will be working on projects nationwide. The role offers the unique opportunity to work on high-level NE2/NE3 infrastructure projects, providing significant exposure to complex transport network environments.
