Job Summary
As a JavaScript and UI Developer at one of Europe's leading banking IT service providers, you will play a pivotal role in the digitalization of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the design, development, and maintenance of banking software solutions, specifically focusing on regulatory reporting and statistics. You will work extensively with Java and TypeScript to build robust user interfaces and backend services, utilizing frameworks such as Spring Boot and React. Beyond development, you will be responsible for test automation, documentation, and providing 2nd and 3rd-level support to internal and external clients. You will also manage the evolution of an cross-application UI framework, coordinating requirements via JIRA. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology, providing you with a platform to develop innovative solutions for complex regulatory requirements within a large, stable, and collaborative environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- 2-3 years of professional experience in software development
- Professional experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL development
- Practical experience in developing applications using Spring Batch and Spring Boot
- Experience in UI development using React
- Experience in version control (Git), build automation (Maven), and CI/CD (Jenkins) is considered an advantage

- The position is exclusively based in Frankfurt am Main. Candidates must be comfortable with 2nd and 3rd-level support activities and requirements engineering.
