Job Summary
As the Laboratory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and quality of drinking water through advanced analytical processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading and motivating the laboratory team, overseeing instrumental analytics (GC-MS, ICP-MS, and Chromatography), and maintaining the lab's quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. You will also be responsible for validating complex measurement results and authorizing official test reports. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in environmental or water analytics who is looking to combine technical expertise with leadership duties. You will work in a stable, accredited laboratory environment that values innovation, professional development, and a collaborative team culture, ensuring compliance with current legal standards and regulations.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable scientific qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in water or environmental analytics.
- Practical experience in quality management within an accredited laboratory environment.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and motivating technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of relevant legal standards and norms.

- Valid work permit for Germany required. Must be familiar with TrinkwV (German Drinking Water Ordinance) and ISO 17025 standards.
