Job Summary
As a Lead Software Engineer at Tube Mill Control, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the software architecture for an innovative AI-supported real-time monitoring and documentation system for industrial pipe manufacturing. This is an influential position where you will define technology stacks, set architectural standards, and ensure the development of modular, scalable, and high-performance systems capable of processing sensor data at kHz frequencies. You will be responsible for integrating AI models into production environments and will eventually lead and mentor a small software team. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in a high-autonomy environment, values engineering excellence, and wants to build a product from the ground up without corporate bureaucracy. You will work closely with the founders, taking full ownership of the software lifecycle while ensuring system determinism, reliability, and 24/7 operational stability.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in software development with specific responsibility for system architecture.
- Experience in designing and maintaining modular, scalable software systems.
- Experience in technical leadership or mentorship, or demonstrated potential to lead a software team.
- Experience with real-time data processing and high-availability operational environments.
