Job Summary
The Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture (LfL) is seeking a Research Associate to join the Institute of Agricultural Economics in Ruhstorf a. d. Rott. This part-time role focuses on the scientific analysis and development of direct marketing concepts (such as farm shops and self-service solutions) and farm-based gastronomy. You will initiate and conduct research projects, analyze socio-economic structural data, and develop quality standards in collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide expert consultation, create educational materials, and facilitate knowledge transfer through publications and presentations. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in food technology or nutritional science who is eager to shape the future of agricultural marketing. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Food Technology, Nutritional Science, or a comparable field (foreign degrees must be officially recognized in Germany).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in practice-oriented research or consulting within the field of agricultural processing and marketing
- Proven experience in public speaking and delivering professional presentations
- Experience in writing and publishing professional or academic articles
- Demonstrated experience in project management
