Job Summary
This role is based in our accredited EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and KMV laboratory in Bonn, supporting public and industrial clients in the defense sector. The successful candidate will perform EMC and KMV testing, assist with external certification measurements, and handle the hardening of devices through zoning. You will be responsible for configuring and commissioning IT systems in preparation for testing, while providing technical documentation and administrative support to the EMC team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in electronics or IT systems who enjoys a mix of hands-on laboratory work and system configuration. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Electrotechnical Assistant, Information and Telecommunications Technician, IT Systems Technician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical electronics or IT systems
- Experience in board-level repair or IT equipment configuration is highly valued for career changers
- Experience in laboratory testing or technical documentation is preferred

- Must be willing to work in an accredited laboratory environment in Bonn. Due to the nature of the defense industry, candidates should be prepared for standard security vetting procedures if required by the client.
