Job Summary
As an IoT Test & Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of IoT components within a global engineering consultancy. Your day-to-day responsibilities include defining, implementing, and coordinating testing activities, managing test equipment, and performing data analysis to drive product excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain long-term testing documentation in Confluence and support Jira-based user inquiries. A key focus of this role is the development of test automation frameworks and simulations using Python and C. This position is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in embedded software and IoT communication standards who enjoys a hands-on, on-site working environment. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Embedded Software, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in testing IoT components
- Proven experience in performance and reliability testing
- Professional experience in test automation and framework development
- Experience with electrical measurement procedures and energy consumption analysis
- Experience with cybersecurity protocols and IoT cloud integration is considered an advantage

Additional
- Predominantly on-site work required due to the hands-on nature of the role; valid work permit for Germany required.
