Job Summary
This role at the Federal Institute for Public Health (BIÖG) involves managing the lifecycle of IT services and leading critical IT projects within a federal agency. You will be responsible for the continuous development of IT service management platforms, including incident, change, and asset management processes. A core part of your daily work will involve acting as a bridge between technical teams and organizational units, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and ensuring all digital offerings align with both internal needs and legal compliance standards. You will also oversee external service providers and ensure adherence to information security and data protection regulations. This is a unique opportunity to shape the digital transformation of a government institution, working on high-impact public health communication platforms. The position requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex IT processes in a highly regulated environment, contributing directly to the modernization of federal administrative processes.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Master/Bachelor/Diploma) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
