Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to drive the digital transformation of Berlin's public administration as a Technical Security Officer within the Infrastructure Operations department. You will play a critical role in maintaining IT security by conducting BSI-standard IT baseline protection checks, performing risk analyses, and supporting internal and external ISMS audits. Day-to-day, you will advise departments on security measures, manage IT security incidents, design countermeasures, and oversee reporting and controlling processes. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Informatics, Computer Science) or equivalent acquired knowledge and skills.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT security and information security management
- Experience in applying BSI IT-Grundschutz standards and conducting risk analyses
- Experience in coordinating IT security measures across different organizational departments
- Experience in supporting or conducting internal/external security audits

- Must be willing to undergo an extended security clearance (SÜ 2) according to § 11 of the Berlin Security Clearance Act (BSÜG). Desirable: Certification as IT Security Officer or BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner; practical experience with ISMS software (e.g., verinice).
