Job Summary
DynaMotion is seeking a PLC / Automation Engineer to join their team in Ilmenau, Germany, to design and implement custom electrical drive systems. In this role, you will take full technical responsibility for projects from initial design and configuration to final commissioning at customer sites. Your day-to-day work will involve programming PLC systems using CoDeSys, building and testing prototypes, and optimizing drive solutions for industrial automation. You will also manage technical documentation, including requirement specifications, and perform troubleshooting and maintenance. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys seeing projects through their entire lifecycle. Required Skills
Education
Technical degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming, ideally using CoDeSys
- Professional experience in drive technology and industrial automation
- Experience in prototype development, testing, and system optimization
- Experience with ECAD systems such as EPLAN is desirable
- Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting industrial systems
