Job Summary

In this role, you will work as a field-based Measurement Technician, playing a critical role in environmental protection by ensuring industrial facilities comply with legal emission limits. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing discontinuous emission measurements at power plants and chemical facilities, conducting comparative measurements for functional testing and calibration according to DIN EN 14181/VDI 3950, and managing on-site data plausibility checks. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of measurement equipment and clear communication with clients. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys field work, as it involves approximately 80% travel, including regional and occasional national assignments. You will be supported by a structured onboarding process and have the opportunity to develop into a project management role. The position requires a technical or scientific background, physical fitness for working at heights, and a valid driver's license.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Laboratory Technician, Environmental Protection Technician, or Chimney Sweep)

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical field service or emission measurement technology is considered an advantage
  • Experience with relevant environmental standards (BImSchG, TA Luft, VDI guidelines) is preferred
  • Experience in technical reporting and data documentation

  • Valid driver's license (Class B), physical fitness, ability to work at heights (schwindelfreiheit), willingness to travel (approx. 80% field work), and ability to occasionally stay overnight for project requirements.
