Job Summary
As a Senior Expert in Accounting & Tax at OBG Gruppe GmbH, you will take full responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB) at both the individual and group levels, including consolidation. You will act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding complex accounting and tax issues, particularly focusing on construction projects, provisions, and risk assessment. Beyond daily accounting operations, you will drive the standardization and digitalization of financial processes and serve as a commercial sparring partner to the executive management. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who enjoys working cross-functionally to influence budget planning and financial forecasts. The position offers a high level of autonomy, a permanent contract in a stable company, and the opportunity to shape financial workflows in a key professional role.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification such as Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or Tax Advisor (Steuerberater).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proven experience in group accounting and consolidation.
- Ideally, professional experience within the construction or project-based industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex accounting processes and financial statements.
