Job Summary
As an IT Application Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in the IT Operations & Support team, ensuring the smooth functionality of hardware, software, and specialized applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing user accounts and permissions, performing software installations, and providing 1st and 2nd level support via a helpdesk. You will also be responsible for the administration of central software products and maintaining thorough documentation. This position is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys troubleshooting and optimizing IT processes. You will work in a collaborative environment within the Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis district office, contributing to a team of nine. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), or equivalent retraining.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT operations and application support
- Practical experience in Windows client administration and Active Directory
- Demonstrated ability in providing technical support and user assistance
