Job Summary
As a Senior Expert in Accounting, Closing, and Reporting at Deutsche Telekom Services Europe, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial accounting and driving the evolution of accounting processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing HGB and IFRS-compliant financial statements, coordinating month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, and preparing comprehensive reporting packages. You will act as a key point of contact for auditors and tax authorities while ensuring robust internal control systems. A major focus of this role is the digital transformation of finance; you will actively implement automation and leverage Artificial Intelligence to enhance efficiency and quality. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who combines deep technical accounting expertise with a strong service-oriented mindset, capable of managing international stakeholders and leading strategic projects to optimize group-wide accounting policies.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
Experience
- Multi-year professional experience in accounting, specifically in preparing individual or consolidated financial statements.
- Professional experience in auditing or financial reporting environments.
- Experience in managing international stakeholder relationships and coordinating closing processes.
- Practical experience in process optimization, including digitalization and the application of AI within finance.
- Experience in collaborating with auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Languages
Additional
- Must be eligible to work in Germany. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
